THANKFUL TODAY...OF COURSE....

Good morning all....GOD BLESS EVERYBODY....this is definitely the time to spend with your FAMILY AND LOVED ONES....I love this holiday because I LOVE COOKING....and most importantly....my family LOVES my cooking.....I did the damn thang until 3am...and God gave me all my strength...and I never question it....yesterday...I did my 9-5 thang...went to WISEGUYS to do my STAND UP performance...picked up a few thangs at the supermarket....and then bust down the cooking....the end result.... BAKED MACARONI AND CHEESE...POTATO SALAD...SWEET POTATOS...GREENS....CORNBREAD....(minus the TURKEY AND HAM...thanks Jeff you did the damn thang)...I can go on and on with my menu..but you can imagine...the LIST is long..... you get the picture...THE DAVIS FAMILY IS VERY THANKFUL and will be very FULL....I miss my sister Regina..my neices Toya, Danie and Whitney..great neices and great nephews....my BOYS from another mother...Benji and Prince and my granddaughters(yeah I said it)...and I love them ALL from the bottom of my HEART...they give me everything I want and need....and it's not all materilistic...they mainly give me SUPPORT AND THEY MAKE SURE I KNOW THEY LOVE ME.....I know everyone should be taking this day to count their blessings and share food and LOVE with the special folks in their lives...I an definitely enjoying taday....and I am so happy to around the folks that know and most importantly....love me for who I am.....I am truly BLESSED and HIGHLY FAVORED....and "YA KNOW THIS MAN!"...in Chris Tucker's voice.....I hope everyone enjoys this day...and remember...Christmas is right around the corner...Lord knows my wallet ain't ready for that TADAY..I am going to do the BLACK FRIDAY thang...just not at the stores....and it's only because I'm "BLACK AND IT'S FRIDAY!"...whatever man........but my family and I are GOOD...I got everything I NEED... WE ARE ALRIGHT..I'M SMILING RIGHT NOW..WITH A BIG OLE PLATE OF THANKSGIVING FOOD..lol....now I have to work tomorrow..YEAH.....IT IS WHAT IT IS....and I'm gonna enjoy my blessings and PRAY that EVERYONE...has a beautiful day....and make sure you EAT EAT and EAT some more...cause I AM....until the next post peoples...
